Martin Luther King - I Have A Dream Speech - August 28, 1963
If there is anything you should hear today is this speech by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr...
Dr. King said this in his speech,
"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."
While this is true for many minorities, the reality is we still live in a nation where color of skin, gender, religious affiliation or lack-of religious affiliation, nationality, and sexual orientation determines a person's worth, dignity, and significance.
Jesus came to make things right. And as a person who is following Jesus, I felt compelled to post this video as a reminder to myself and maybe to you as well, that the gospel is our measurement for how we view people, love people, and value people; regardless of color of skin, gender, religious affiliation or lack-of religious affiliation, nationality, and sexual orientation.
Listen, thinking, and then act...
